Future Library is a work of art designed to unfold over a century, one that depends on a continuous chain of care, attention, and belief.

Since 2014, with the support of the Municipality of Oslo we have planted a forest, invited the world’s greatest writers, and built a sanctuary for the manuscripts in Oslo.

Now, we are excited to enter a new phase of Custodianship and we would like to invite you to join us in expanding our mission and safeguarding Future Library for the next generations.

By supporting it today, you take part in carrying it forward, ensuring that each chapter, each ceremony, and each manuscript continues toward 2114.
